What's the meaning of life?

 

As one of those deep thinker types, I've spent an inordinate amount of time considering this question and have come to believe that the answer is to:

Create the best life you can, as consciously as possible.

 

Why is story important?

​

Even if much of it has been a fly-by-the-seat of your pants kind of time, a well-lived life - full of success and failure - accumulates vast troves of wisdom and stories, and these stories are how we make sense of ourselves, our world and each other.

 

Stories are, essentially, the elixir of life.​

What's my professional purpose?

 

My interest in personal history writing is something that intuitively began in 2017. First with myself, when I started writing a memoir based on an experience from my own life. Then, in 2020, when I interviewed my parents for a book about their lives. After that it was just a short hop, skip and jump to realise this was a valuable service I could offer others.

I don’t want to just add to the noise; I want every project to matter.
