Portfolio
Every project begins with someone - an individual, family or group - who has something meaningful to share. What follows is a collaborative process of listening, shaping and crafting stories with care and purpose.
Some are deeply personal, others celebratory, historical or quietly transformative. All are driven by a desire to honour lived experience and pass something of value on - whether to loved ones, a local community, or a wider audience.
Below is a selection of projects it’s been my privilege to help bring to life.

Kindling the Light ~ Schooling for wonder, compassion and moral courage
Role ~ Researcher, interviewer, writer
Kindling the Light is an 80-page visual feast that calls forth many potent questions around the task of education in our time. Through interviews with staff, students, parents, alumni and friends of the school, this is a coming-of-age story, of resilience, responsibility and the rich significance of Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing within the school.
It was published in 2021 and is available for sale in Megalong Books in the Blue Mountains and online in the Rudolph Steiner Book Centre.
Learning a Life
Role ~ Ghostwriter
Learning a Life is a candid, compelling memoir of leadership, struggle and growth. In Learning a Life, one man explores the inner world behind outer success—sharing hard-won lessons from a life marked by depression, resilience and purpose. Honest, insightful and deeply human, this book opens space for others to find meaning in their own stories.
To create this full colour, 300-page book, Robert and I undertook a series of 12 interviews that formed the basis of all the stories and structure of this book.
*I am currently project managing this book through the design process and it's due to be published at the end of 2025

Role ~ Researcher, interviewer, writer, curator, editor
To mark the 50th anniversary of the Australian Tunnelling Society, I was engaged as contributing editor to research, curate, write and coordinate the production of this entire 100-page commemorative journal.
Working closely with volunteers, I interviewed industry leaders, researched and compiled historical content, structured the publication, and liaised with the publisher to deliver a high-quality final product on time.

Moth and the Golden Thread*
Role ~ Interviewer and writer
Moth & the Golden Thread (working title) is the extraordinary true-life story of a man, who went from homeless alcoholic to leading executive coach. This story is told in the form of a fable where the protagonist is Moth, his mother, Spider, this father, Cassowary and they live in the forest with a cast of other animals.
This book is about the perennial possibility of creating transformational change in any life, no matter how dire. It aims to be the catalyst to encourage others to drop their addictions and change their lives.
*This book is in development. I undertook eight interviews to gather the story this client wants to tell, and we continue to work closely throughout the writing process.
