I specialise in researching, writing and managing the development of commemorative books that honour the milestones, people and stories that shape an organisation’s legacy.

Whether marking an anniversary, celebrating key contributors or capturing a pivotal moment in time, I work closely with clients to craft engaging, enduring narratives that reflect both history and purpose.

TESTIMONIAL
"Penny Jones is a gifted listener and spinner of sense making. She wrestled the masses of conversations that formed the basis of Kindling the Light, Schooling for Wonder, Compassion and Moral Courage, into a beautifully coherent and lively text. The quality of Penny’s engagement with the complexities of the purpose of the book, was outstanding. The evolving story of our school as an innovation in education, was delivered richly and with Penny’s voice subtly allowing the story to reveal itself. "

BOOK REVIEWS

"In Kindling the Light, we see how, at Kindlehill School, a child-centred inspiring, creative curriculum enables each pupil to be the best and most fulfilled person that they can be. Kindling the Light has inspired me to see how schools can transform education, when both educators and parents deeply understand how children best learn and create the conditions for them to be in harmony with themselves, others and our natural world."

"What a joy to read this wonderful book! It's beautifully constructed, well written and hasn't missed a single aspect of Kindlehill's development over its 21 years. It's obviously been an enormous undertaking but the final result is full of love and attention to detail.   Congratulations to Kindlehill. I enjoyed every page."
